Description
Ten-year-old Sarah was arrested with her parents on the night of July 16, 1942 and taken to the Vélodrome d'Hiver in Paris, where thousands of Jews were gathered for deportation. However, no one saw Sarah lock her little brother Michel in a closet just before the police entered the apartment.
Sixty years later, Julia Jarmond, an American journalist in Paris, is commissioned to write an article about this raid. She searches through archives and through Sarah's file she discovers a well-hidden secret of her in-laws.
